PERFUMERY COURSES

An in-depth perfumery course designed for those who wish to go beyond discovery and develop a deeper understanding of fragrance creation. The course is structured into three sessions, each lasting 3 hours, combining theory, olfactory training, and practical formulation.
Participants explore raw materials, perfume structures, and composition techniques while developing their sensory skills and creative approach. Each session builds progressively, guiding participants from understanding scent foundations to creating balanced and intentional formulas.

FAQs
Who is this course designed for?
This course is ideal for enthusiasts who want to move past the basics and understand the "why" and "how" of fragrance creation. It is also highly beneficial for professionals in the beauty, fashion, or retail sectors wishing to refine their olfactory vocabulary and technical knowledge. No chemistry degree is required—just a genuine curiosity and the patience to learn the discipline of formulation.
What is the final outcome of the course?
Is there homework or practice required between sessions?
Will we be working with pre-mixed bases or raw materials?
By the end of the course, you will have developed a trained nose capable of deconstructing scents. You will leave with your own lab notebook containing your formulas iterations created entirely from scratch using the techniques learned.
To provide a deeper understanding, this course relies heavily on individual raw materials. You will work with specific essential oils, absolutes, and key synthetic molecules. This allows you to understand exactly how a "Rose" accord is built, rather than just using a pre-made "Rose blend."
While discovery workshops are often one-off experiences focused on fun, this course is a structured educational program. Over 9 total hours, we move beyond simple mixing to teach you the logic of perfumery. You will learn technical olfactory training, how to study raw materials in isolation, and the professional method of writing formulas by weight and ratio, rather than just "dropping" oils randomly.
While formal homework isn't graded, we highly encourage "olfactory training" between classes. You may be asked to smell specific items in your daily life (spices, fruits, woods) or wear trial versions of your accords on your skin to see how they evolve over time, reporting back your findings in the next session.
